Mouse at corner of maximized window

SUMMARY
At certain display scales there's a gap between the corners and, for example, the close button on windows. See attached screenshot for example. That vertical line is my mouse. Note that the "X" close button isn't highlighted. If I click, I end up clicking the window behind it.

This seems to primarily impact maximized XWayland applications when using non-integer scaling.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set non-integer display scaling
2. Maximize an XWayland window
3. Move mouse to corner/edge

OBSERVED RESULT
Mouse targets slight gap into behind the window

EXPECTED RESULT
Mouse targets window
