What freezes? Are you still able to move the mouse pointer, at least? Does Alt+Tab switch windows?
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > What freezes? Are you still able to move the mouse pointer, at least? Does > Alt+Tab switch windows? the panel freezes, the desktop (program windows slow down but works), the mouse pointer works because the panel freezes I can't continue trying to restart or shut down through command and need to use power button of the keyboard, each time by the way, for this issue I need to work for some time or open many programs for this to happen (I guess), when is just turned on I can restart (even with the pop-up notification qbitorrent that cancel the restart command, but again need to do at least twice, that is click restart button on the panel)
Alt+Tab switch windows works (it seems)
When this happens, can you use Alt+F2 to open KRunner, use it to launch Konsole, use Konsole to run the `top` program, and see if anything is consuming excessive CPU resources? Like, 100%? Or even 50%.
Created attachment 161942 [details] Hi, I open konsole before the restart in order to make the screenshot (also open before shutter)
Created attachment 161943 [details] other screenshot same event
Created attachment 161944 [details] another event freezing panel in order to take the screenshots need to open before restart the konsole and shutter apps in order to freeze the panel (main bar) just needed to open some apps and restart several times
It appears that Falkon's QtWebEngine processes are going haywire and consuming all available system resources. Moving the bug report to Falkon.
