Description Praveen A 2023-09-22 13:12:12 UTC
SUMMARY
Originally reported in gnome calls but I was redirected here
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/calls/-/issues/599#note_1851108 this has some information on how gnome calls export this information via dbus and how phosh handles it.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. set gnome calls a default calls app (install mobian phosh bookworm, upgrade to trixie, install plasma-mobile)
2. wait for an incoming call or call from another phone
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
unlock password is asked

EXPECTED RESULT
incoming call should be shown in lock screen without unlocking just like how phosh does it

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I was unable to get plasma dialer working, which is being tracked in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1052216
Comment 1 Praveen A 2023-09-22 14:02:47 UTC
I was able to get plasma dialer working after a reboot, so this issue is not a high priority.
Comment 2 Praveen A 2023-09-22 14:04:18 UTC
The issue I had with plasma dialer https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1052216 (so gnome calls was handling the calls under plasma mobile)
