STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect external display to NVidia driven port on Intel/Nvidia hybrid laptop
2. Move mouse from external display and primary display

OBSERVED RESULT
with inconsistent results, the image of the mouse cursor will remain toward the edge of the exited display while an active cursor will continue on the other displays. This "ghost" image cursor will remain until the active cursor re-enters the view of the external display.

EXPECTED RESULT
Mouse cursor flows from one display to the next, disappearing completely from the frame of the exited display

Can confirm on 5.27, and also on git master (though it happens less often than on 5.27, it does still happen)
