Duplicate Chrome web app icons

SUMMARY
Chromium/Chrome web apps duplicate icons when pinned to Task Manager and launched by clicking on it, as per attached screenshot.
This is a known issue and there is a workaround as per forum below:

https://superuser.com/questions/1015796/in-kde-plasma-5-how-to-i-create-standalone-launchers-desktop-shortcuts-to-web-a

However, this is a bit funky, as you can see the icons moving around to remove the duplicate icon.
This could work out of the box with only one icon on the Task Manager behaving like any other app icon pinned to the Task Manager.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open any Chromium based browser
2. Click the 3 dots button to open the menu -> More Tools -> Create Shortcut -> Select the "Open as Window" checkbox -> OK
3. Open the Application Launcher -> Chrome Apps -> Right-click on the app -> Pin to Task Manager.
4. Pin to Task Manager
5. Click on the app icon on the Task Manager to launch the app

OBSERVED RESULT
The app launches on a separate icon. With duplicate icons on the Task Manager.

EXPECTED RESULT
The app launches on the same icon clicked, without creating another icon

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.8
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.110.0
Qt Version: 5.15.10
Kernel Version: 6.5.3-arch1-1 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Chrome browser is not pinned to my Task Manager, otherwise it would group the icons with the browser's icon, which is another issue, already raised here.
