Description Anton Dadiani 2023-09-17 20:42:17 UTC
SUMMARY

The new tool for remapping extra mouse buttons is not working for mouse wheel left/right and middle button actions (using Logi Anywhere 2S mouse). Nevertheless left-side buttons are being detected. xbindkeys supports all actions fine, so this is not a hardware problem.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to settings > Input Devices > Mouse
2. Select the correct device and push the Re-Bind button
3. Click Add Binding then push the extra button to remap

OBSERVED RESULT
Not detecting and mouse events

This is intentional , the left, right and middle button can't be assigned custom actions, so people don't shoot themselves in the foot.
