Created attachment 161643 [details] backtrace Application: kdenlive (23.08.0) Qt Version: 5.15.10 Frameworks Version: 5.107.0 Operating System: Linux 6.1.0-12-amd64 x86_64 Windowing System: X11 Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm) DrKonqi: 5.27.5 [CoredumpBackend] -- Information about the crash: Plugin Stack Before: Stereo to Mono (doesn't really change to mono, just copies one channel into the other), Fast Lookahead Limiter, 4-Band Parametric Filter, Noise Suppressor for Voice Plugin Stack Before: Stereo to Mono (doesn't really change to mono, just copies one channel into the other), Mixdown (mode=Mono, does actually change channel layout), Fast Lookahead Limiter, 4-Band Parametric Filter, Noise Suppressor for Voice Kdenlive crashes upon starting playback after having made the above change. The crash can be reproduced every time.
It seems to be a distro crash. Please try with the actual 23.08.1 AppImage from the download page to see if you can reproduce the crash.
Tried this with git master. Still crashes, but not immediately. First it plays garbled audio and then crashes after a few seconds.
On Windows I don’t have: Fast Lookahead Limiter, 4-Band Parametric Filter. Making the test with: Stereo to Mono, Noise Suppressor for Voice and then add Mixdown -> no crash happens. Please try to make the test without Fast Lookahead Limiter and 4-Band Parametric Filter. Do you still have a crash? If yes that could be a distro issue as I don’t see any Kdenlive file in the backtrace.
