SUMMARY
It seems symlinks are ignored while looking for installed desktop themes. This is a shame because backup and synchronisation of themes is hard with data scattered throughout the home dir. It would be great if Plasma or which-ever library is responsible would follow symlinks for discovery.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. cd ~/.local/share/plasma/look-and-feel/
2. Link a theme with ln -s {themelocation} {themename}
3. run lookandfeeltool -l

OBSERVED RESULT
Theme not listed

EXPECTED RESULT
Theme listed
