STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create desktop icon for directory, for example ~/data
2. Move ~/data directory onto place in removable drive 
3. Create symlink to that place in ~/data
4. Unmount removable drive, where you moved ~/data
5. Click on desktop icon

OBSERVED RESULT
Dialog with possibility to select an app to open with appear

EXPECTED RESULT
Error message telling place are not accessible appear
