STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open folder with images with Gwenview
2. All image formats are displayed correctly in the thumbnails and main window.
3. XCF file formats for GIMP do not display at all: "Loading '19910601.xcf' failed"

OBSERVED RESULT
No previews of XCF files.

EXPECTED RESULT
Previews of XCF files.

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Gwenview 25.08?

If yes:
Can you please attach a backtrace of the crash using the coredumpctl command-line program, as detailed in https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports#Retrieving_a_backtrace_using_coredumpctl?

As of version 23.08.5 of Gwenview, XCF files can be viewed.
