SUMMARY Krita Crashes instantly on starting it up through steam on Linux Mint, this behavior was consistent on both of my Linux systems but not on my windows system, This issue has prevented me from using Krita through steam, it remains fully functional through the Flatpak version. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Launch Krita with the play button on steam. OBSERVED RESULT The Krita splash screen outline appears and then quickly goes away, the program does not successfully launch. EXPECTED RESULT The program launches completely after the play button on steam is clicked. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Linux Mint 21.2 x86_64 (available in About System) DE: Cinnamon 5.8.4 CPU: 11th Gen Intel i5-1135G7 (8) @ 4.200GHz GPU: Intel TigerLake-LP GT2 [Iris Xe Graphics] Memory: 7063MiB / 15774MiB
Emmet, I guess this is a duplicate? And already solved?

Hi, Butter! Have you tried to update Krita through Steam recently? The update with the fix was published on 31st of August only... Btw, how do you install Steam? Through Flatpack or via some other method?
