Description Unknown 2023-09-01 21:28:56 UTC
SUMMARY
After plugging in my iPod Touch 4G, entering the passcode on it, and opening it through Dolphin, it gives me the following error:
"Internal Error
Please send a full bug report at https://bugs.kde.org
Unhandled lockdownd code '-5'"
Sometimes when plugging in the iPod, it only shows a nonexistent "Portable Media Player", and I need to replug in the iPod to get the actual iPod name to show up in Disks and Devices.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Plug in an iPod Touch 4G
2. Wait up to a minute until the name of the iPod shows up in Disks and Devices ("Portable Media Player" is not the iPod)
2a. If "(iPod name) iPod" does not show up, replug the iPod on both sides of cable, or restart computer.
3. Open the "(iPod name) iPod" by clicking "Open in File Manager"
4. Error appears

OBSERVED RESULT
Red error "popup" appears, and no contents are shown.

EXPECTED RESULT
iPod is readable in the same way as with an iPhone device.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: 6.1.44-1-lts 64bit
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.7
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.108.0
Qt Version: 5.15.10
Running EndeavourOS

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Packages are up to date as of 2023-08-25.
Disks and Devices shows a "Portable Media Player", but it does nothing (probably unrelated to this issue).
I have tried pairing via idevicepair, but even ifuse cannot mount the iPod. No idevice tools work.
lsusb recognizes the iPod correctly.
A Macbook running High Sierra is able to open the iPod in iTunes.
Comment 1 Unknown 2023-09-01 23:03:35 UTC
This is still happening as of a full update on 2023-09-01.
Comment 2 Unknown 2023-09-02 02:32:49 UTC
The iPod also only appears to show up when it is plugged in when it is in a sleep mode/the screen is turned off.
