STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Open a small picture, 100x100 pixels for instance
2.  Press F to toggle from 100% to Fill

OBSERVED RESULT
The slider, combobox and button on the lower toolbar react. However, the image stays tiny. 
Interestingly this works for me on openSUSE TW, but not under Fedora 38.

EXPECTED RESULT
Display an image as "filled" works under Fedora 38.

I can confirm this myself on a different machine with a new installation + updates on Fedora 38.

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Gwenview 25.08.0 (the latest released version)?
