It's not highlighted, but it is drawn with bold text. The highlight effect now purely follows hover. Do you think it should start out highlighted too, but then the highlight should move with the pointer?
Created attachment 161327 [details] where is bold text.png I didn't notice there is bold text until you noticed it. The bold text has very subtle difference than normal text as seen in the screenshot.
Oh wow, that is indeed very subtle in Chinese. I see the problem, yeah, FWIW it's much more obvious in a Latin script language.
That does indeed not work as-is. Hm, we could play with the font size and/or the opacity of the icons to make it clear which entry is the active one.

This is a problem because currently we only distinguish the current entry with boldness. This commit fixes that by additionally pre-selecting it.
