Description sourcemaker 2023-08-29 14:41:56 UTC
A Git process is started automatically when Dolphin is opened.
This takes forever and the UI freezes.

/bin/git status --untracked-files=all --ignored --short --ignore-submodules --porcelain
Comment 1 sourcemaker 2023-08-29 14:48:06 UTC
If I kill the process, it starts again.

This is especially nerve-wracking on larger projects, even on an NVMe drive.
Dolphin becomes almost unusable.
