SUMMARY *** When attempting to download the standalone from Kdenlive's site, the Microsoft Edge browser states "kdenlive_standalone.exe isn't commonly downloaded. Make sure you trust kdenlive." When the use clicks on "Report this file as safe", they are taken to a Feedback page: https://feedback.smartscreen.microsoft.com/feedback.aspx There's an option on that page that says, "I am the owner or representative of this website and I want to report an incorrect warning about this website". I'm filing this bug so that KDE/Kdenlive website administrators can complete this form and mark the download as safe. For certain Microsoft enterprise users (such as those using a work laptop), the standalone is the only way to use Kdenlive. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to Kdenlive download page using MS Edge 2. Attempt to download Kdenlive Windows standalone OBSERVED RESULT Download is blocked EXPECTED RESULT Download goes through SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 11
Please try with the 23.08.1 standalone version. We renewed the certificates and Kdenlive should start without an issue on Win11.
