SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** I am assuming that I have made the right choices to report a bug with the weather widget. Location=Jacksonville, FL. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Select NOAA source via Jacksonville International Airport station 2. In a day or two it will stop working (unable to fetch data) 3. Temporary fix is to select a different source (Wetter or BBC). 4. Reapply the Airport station OBSERVED RESULT In a day or two it will no longer work. It stops fetching data. EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.7 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.109.0 Qt Version: 5.15.10 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Via Fedora RPMs While I am at it, BBC is very inaccurate and does not report current conditions. Wetter is limited. It does not provide the current temperature nor does it include details; pressure, humidity, etc.
I have noticed this, as well. However, as of today (31 Jan 2024), toggling to other weather services and back to NOAA does not fix the issue. No updates are fetched. (Note: the non-NOAA weather services are much less accurate for many US locations).
Anyone still experiencing this in Plasma 6?
