Created attachment 161225 [details] System Monitor applications SUMMARY After some hours of use, the System Monitor starts reporting multiple Firefox entries with no icon, no CPU usage, and no memory reported. The more time goes by, the more duplicated entries show up. These entries never disappear until I reboot, even if I close Firefox. Only the "real" Firefox entry (the one with the icon and stats) disappears when I close it. When checking the System Activity tool (CTRL+ESC) everything looks normal and there's no Firefox entries after I've closed it. If I select one of these strange Firefox entries, the details section graphs seem buggy with information that makes no sense to me, and the Processes list shows hundreds of processes from programs completely unrelated to Firefox. I have attached a screenshot showing the phenomenon. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use Firefox for a few hours. 2. Open System Monitor. 3. Look at the Applications list. OBSERVED RESULT The Applications list shows a bunch of duplicated Firefox entries with nonsensical Details info. EXPECTED RESULT A single Firefox entry.
