Description Yao Mitachi 2023-08-15 17:02:06 UTC
SUMMARY

Animated GIFs already loop (though it probably shouldn't force looping by default if the GIF isn't meant to loop, #143401) but GIF is becoming less and less popular of a format, now often being replaced by WebM. So, it should be possible to loop videos, too. Maybe not by default, but an option would be good, something like "Loop videos" in the settings.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: 6.4.10
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.7
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.108.0
Qt Version: 5.15.10

Yes please

Not being able to loop videos has been missing from gwenview for so long

gifs should loop first adhering to the loop setting and then adhering to the rules of the slideshow rules. Thats it, keep looping if time is below image time. Otherwise gifs end too fast when doing a slideshow
