If you're already in a room and I search for it in the "Explore rooms" page, the search gets zero hits. This can confuse you into thinking that the room is private or doesn't even exist.

This happened to me today when I was attempting to find and join a room I was actually already in but didn't realize it because my room list is so long.

It would be better if the search results list told you that you're already in the room and offered up a button to click on that will take you to that room, rather than showing nothing.

I can't reproduce this, what you're proposing is exactly how it's supposed to work and how it does work for me
Comment 2 James Graham 2023-08-20 18:41:21 UTC
Agreed this works for me so this must be a specific issue and unless there are a concrete set of repro steps there isn't much we can do
Comment 3 Nate Graham 2023-08-21 17:31:51 UTC
I can't reproduce it anymore. I guess it got fixed somewhere, somehow, somewhen.
