Description pantivashka 2023-08-04 09:57:40 UTC
SUMMARY:
«Annotation tool» increases image resolution after editing procedure.

DESCRIPTION:
Any change to any picture by the «Annotation tool» results in an increase in resolution after clicking the «Save» button. For example, a 3840x2160 picture is upscaled to a resolution of 5760x3240. If this picture is edited again, the resolution will not increase a second time. However, if you reduce the size of the image back to its original size, the quality degrades.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Open any image with Gwenview;
2. Button «Annotation Tool»;
3. Any image editing: arrow or dot;
4. «OK» button.

OBSERVED RESULT:
Editing results will be saved correctly, but the image resolution will increase.

EXPECTED RESULT:
Editing results should be correctly saved at the same image resolution.
