STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. use Wayland
2. open Spectacle
3. click on "Recording" tab and make sure "Include mouse pointer" option is checked
4. click on "Workspace" button
5. move the mouse pointer on the screen
6. stop the recording and watch the recorded video

OBSERVED RESULT
the mouse pointer was not recorded

EXPECTED RESULT
the mouse pointer should be recorded

I got my mouse cursor in my video as of builds done over the weekend, can you please confirm you can still reproduce this issue Patrick?

I've just tried to replicate this bug again but can't. Patrick can you try with another user or another distro. This may be Neon specific.

There was a bug fix MR, but I didn't realize the "BUG: ######" was only in the MR description, so the bug didn't automatically close.
