NFS? Not NTFS?
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > NFS? Not NTFS? The music collection is on a linux raid system with ext4 formated filesystem and distributed via nfs.
Do you use the 'fast native indexer' in the settings? Could you switch to the alternative?
First I switched to direct search, but elisa did again the indexing from scratch. And elisa was detecting more files than in the directory. Then I switched to search only absolut path. Now it's much better. At every start of elisa it detects "only" 650 files again.
After 20 Minutes of playing music elisa start indexing again. No restart. What else could be done for bugtracking?
Sorry fpr reporting piece by piece. But with direct search and absolut path in the configuration elisa is indexing forever. I've 11.000 Files in the searching directory and stopped elisa at count 29.000. Is this a new bug?
