STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select To-do list view
2. Select New To-do
3. Create new To-do entry and set priority in the pop-up options
4. Click OK (or Apply) to create a new To-do entry

OBSERVED RESULT
New entry is created with a blank priority

EXPECTED RESULT
New entry should have the selected priority

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.27.6
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.107.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.107.0
Qt Version: 4.8.7

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The priority can then be set from the To-do list view, so this is a minor annoyance rather than a major problem.

Works perfectly for me in the 23.08 pre-release (5.23.80) version
I tried personal calendar and google calendar and caldav . all worked fine
Comment 2 Allen Winter 2025-03-05 15:14:00 UTC
I can reproduce this now. I see the specified priority for a split-second in the tree view. but then it disappears
Comment 3 Allen Winter 2025-03-05 16:38:30 UTC
same behavior for categories.
only fails for google calendar, however.

caldav (nextcloud) and personal calendar work fine for me.

stumped for now.
