I am also having this issue, for me this is only the case after removing an account and then trying to re-add it. Page hangs indefinitely.

Hi everybody,
I have this issue, too.
I've removed my Google accounts trying to bypass the "missing or expired token" bug, and I cannot log in into Google anymore.
Password page never reached out, login page grayed out and progress bar moving forever in the top of the window.
Comment 5 Antonio Marra 2023-09-20 07:11:46 UTC
I forgot to give info about my setup:

KDE Neon 5.27
Plasma-desktop 4:5.27.8-0xneon+22.04+jammy+release+build43

Adding Google account stuck
Comment 7 Adam 2023-11-02 12:25:25 UTC
I'm experiencing an issue with KDE Online Accounts on Kubuntu where the authentication process hangs when trying to add a Google Drive account. After entering my email and password, the authentication window becomes unresponsive and does not proceed further. I have already installed kio-gdrive.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open System Settings.
Navigate to Online Accounts.
Attempt to add a Google Drive account.
Enter email and password for Google account.
The authentication window hangs and does not proceed.
Expected Behavior:
The authentication process should complete successfully, allowing the Google Drive account to be added and accessed.

Actual Behavior:
The authentication window becomes unresponsive after entering the Google account credentials.

Additional Information:

Kubuntu version: 22.04, 23,10
KDE Plasma version: 5.24.7
kio-gdrive is installed.

I've found that, when I get to the point that the dialog hangs with the progress indicator at the top, if I right click on the dialog and select reload, it will proceed to the next step.

Does not work for me. I can just restart app, but i get in the same loop, no options for next step in Debian 12 KDE plasma (on a Thinkpad T16 Gen3)
