SUMMARY
I would like to have a default keyboard shortcut for opening System Settings.

Preferably "Meta + I" like it is on Windows.
Comment 1 David Redondo 2023-07-23 17:56:25 UTC
Meta+I because Windows doesn't make much sense to me, why not meta+s?
Comment 2 aeneid 2023-07-27 09:32:51 UTC
I suggested Meta+I because I think that it would make it slightly more discoverable and because i like "universal" shortcuts since i often switch between windows and linux.

Still, I'm not against binding it to another shortcut.

This seems reasonable to implement.

This is super easy to do, it's just one line in the app's .desktop file. You can see how Dolphin does it for inspiration. Wanna give it a shot?
