SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** My workflow consists in working with several Dolphin instances at once, each having about 6 tabs of split views. Upgrading to Dolphin 23.04.2 made the tabs captions unusable due to too much info. Before that, the title was the name of the current directory in the currently selected view (out of the two). I have used that to go to the right tab. OBSERVED RESULT Now, the above changed and displays both current directories in the split views, the not selected one being enclosed in parentheses. That leads to partial text rendering due to little space in the tab handler and the left view directory name is always first, so the right one is not rendered anymore there - in my case, with 6 tabs open. EXPECTED RESULT While this is nice, although I would have chosen a different way to highlight the current view selection, it makes truly difficult my workflow now. To conceal both ways, I would add a setting to have the new way, but also the old way available. I need the old way back, it so clear and usable!
