You can activate the scaling to screen factor in the setup if you use a scaling of >100% in Windows or set the fonts accordingly in the digiKam setup for the tree views and/or system font.

This is a screenshot from my Windows 10 with an external 4K screen DELL P2723QE (2560 x 1440), with digiKam 8.2.0 build with VCPKG+MSVC+Qt6. All Hdpi options are enable and application still suitable.
