Window list on Plasma 6

SUMMARY
On Plasma 6, Window List opens the menu of open applications on top of the panel. This is a regression compared to 5.27 because you can't dismiss the list without moving the mouse and clicking on the outside. I also noticed that clicking on it without anything open opens a tiny 1px square.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add the window list widget to the panel
2. With open applications, click on it.

OBSERVED RESULT
The list of open applications appears on top of the panel

EXPECTED RESULT
It should open above the panel

Can confirm. Possibly caused by the thing that caused Bug 470807.

Now that I managed to run a Wayland session on a VM I noticed this issue only affects X11. Out of curiosity, I decided to test 5.27.9 and the issue is present there as well on X11. This isn't a regression caused by Plasma 6 :D
