Current initial zoom/scale toolbar area upon any image loaded

SUMMARY

Gwenview's zoom/scale controls no longer initially display the current zoom percentage upon loading an image. I can't see any configuration options to re-enable it. In previous version the image scale was initially visible beside/as part of the controls. This made it quick & easy to look at the 'scale/resize' controls area to see what it was currently at. This is useful for browsing images & determining if they could be shrunk, i.e. an unimportant image that is at showing at 25% scale I would then nip to toolbar & resize it.

The image scale factor is visible at the top of the screen - but it makes more sense for the scale to show down beside the scale adjusters instead / also, rather than having to look up at the top & bottom of the screen.

Screenshot attached shows how this toolbar looks upon loading any photo - it doesn't provide as useful information as previously by having the right field initially showing the percentage.

Could the percentage be made to show initially upon loading each image please? Thanks.

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Gwenview 25.08.0?

Hi, sorry but I don't have 25.08.0. I'm on Debian 13, which has 25.04.3 & it still has the above issue.
If the scale options Fit & Fill had the actual percentage displayed in brackets after the text, that would be nice & not require a new field to show them.

It shows the info of the current zoom in the titlebar of the window.

Do you still want to add the info next to the zoom panel? If yes, I would change this to 'feature request'.
Otherwise I would close it.

I'll just close it seeing as I've managed to use it as-is for the last 2 years. Thanks.
