(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kmail Version: 1.4.6 (using KDE 3.0.7 1 beta1)) Severity: wishlist Installed from: compiled sources Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB OS/Compiler notes: Hi! the displayed fields are to short IMHO the GUI should be desinged in a way that the text in <available filters> is displayed completely. Even if the window is maximized only 1/3 of the <available filter> text is visible. BTW if both filter criteria and filter action are extended to the maximum number of 8 each (unlikely) the <apply> button pushed out of the visible part of the screen on a 1024 x 678 display and font size 12 and Keramik A scrollbar should get visible in this case. cu ferdinand (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog)
Another HCI issue in that dialog box is the part which controls the filter : - there is a need for drag and drop and multiselection to manage large blocks of filters... - there is no "copy this filter" button, to start from an existing one - there is a lack of hierarchical filtering, by example subject start with "URG:" sender contains "@myenterprise.com" -> display dialog else -> put in a special folder
I think this has been fixed
my initial issue is fixed
