SUMMARY
***
Krusader settings set to default viewer being Generic Viewer. 
KrViewer displays images (tested jpg/png) as blank (white or black background - depending on the theme)  
Once the Generic Viewer is reselected from KrViever Menu

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select an image in one of the panes then click on View or press F3 key
2. KrViever Opens the image but it is only black placeholder. 

OBSERVED RESULT

1. Image does not show - Black background only
2. Selecting Generic Viewer from the KrViewer menu reloads the image correctly. 

EXPECTED RESULT

1. Image displays on first load

Same behaviour in version 2.72, 2.8.0 - did not test any other versions

Can confirm, encountered when reproducing Bug 475133 .
The whole viewport is black even if the image is small. Switching to another view like "Hex Viewer" opens a new tab for me, switching back from that is already enough to get a redraw that corrects the problem, but other attempted ways of forcing a redraw like using the zoom buttons didn't work.

Cannot reproduce (anymore) with current master version. Maybe it was an issue with Wayland and has been fixed. Can somebody confirm?
