SUMMARY *** Often I drag and drop files from a Dolphin folder into FileZilla, or to the Desktop, or (less often) between Dolphin folders. I have no idea what exact action triggers this, but at apparently random times, after I am finished dragging/dropping or I have cancelled it, the cursor gets stuck with the "+" icon instead of going back to its default arrow icon. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE I have no idea 1. Do many drags and drops, perhaps very quickly, 2. perhaps just accidentally click while you are "flying" with the mouse cursor over files and folders 3. do the most crazy things, like clicking both mouse buttons in the most unexpected way or hitting the Esc key before releasing the mouse button or something OBSERVED RESULT Sometimes the mouse cursor gets stuck with the wrong icon, such as the "+" icon for copying. When this happens, the most outrageous thing is that there's no sequence of clicks or movements that will restore the right icon, except for closing all Dolphin windows and reopening them. This situation is extremely scary because I fear that at the next click I'm gonna accidentally move a ton of files and folders to somewhere random. EXPECTED RESULT The icon of the cursor is of uttermost importance and should be the most robust and reliable thing ever. It shouldn't "miss" an update ever in the first place, and for extra security, a lot of trivial events should force an update so that the status is never "leaked" forever.
