STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start selected screen recording with spectacle
2. observe memory consumption

OBSERVED RESULT

Spectacle consumes all 32 Gb of memory in about 90-120 seconds of recording, if I'm lucky oom-killer kills the app, if not the whole system hangs

EXPECTED RESULT

Spectacle should consume limited and finite amount of memory

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Linux 38
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.107
Qt Version: 5.15.10
