STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Spectacle
2. Set Recording mode -> Delay > No delay
3. Click New Image button

OBSERVED RESULT
Delay of 1 to 3 seconds

EXPECTED RESULT
Immediate execution, no delay

This has been fixed in a later version of Spectacle.
