Manual formatting works but its unclear what extension is needed. .wiki .Wikipedia .wikipedia .wikitext all dont work.

Automatically detecting the encoding, maybe adding a new mimetype?

I couldnt find an existing "wiki" mimetype in /etc/mime.types

Using Fedora 38 Kinoite currently

You mean the 'MediaWiki' highlighting? That requires the suffix .mediawiki
