SUMMARY
On a 4k screen there is a LOT of scrolling to get to the main buttons (Preview, Scan & Reselect Scanner), especially when also adjusting settings in the left pane. Please make a toolbar at the top and move the buttons to that (top-left). 

Also, add a units dropdown in the settings dialogue to include mm (default), cm and if you're the American I guess it could still show those old legacy imperial units: chains, furlongs and inches that pretty much only Americans and older Brits (like me, might need)
