SUMMARY
Hello. I'm using kdenlive on 2 systems.
First system - Ryzen 5800H and Windows11 installed - working as expected.
Second system - Ryzen 6900HX and ArchLinux installed - monitor view is laggy only on fullscreen.

I've tried to use proxy clips. Tried to use 270p monitor (while my system have 0 lags when using it with 1:1 (1080p) resolution). Doesn't matter - when monitor is on fullscreen - it's showing only 1 frame per second (or even 1 frame per few seconds)
Sound is still playing without any issues.

Maybe it's because I'm using Gnome DE and there is some fullscreen QT issue? But I'm using Telegram client (based on QT) and can play videos on fullscreen without issues. Not sure why it's like this.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open any kdenlive project on Gnome DE (Wayland backend).
2. Open project monitor to fullscreen and start playing.
3. done, it's lagging

OBSERVED RESULT
project monitor is working showing 1FPS or even less when it's fullscreen.

EXPECTED RESULT
Same as on Windows system or better.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: ArchLinux
KDE Plasma Version: none, I'm using gnome DE (version 44)
Qt Version: qt-5-base-5.15.9 / qt-6-base-6.5.1-2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I had the same problem but on 23.04.1 version. Not sure about older version, only started using kdenlive.

Found the problem - running on X11 fixed it. So probably it's wayland or xwayland issue.
How can I help to resolve it?

Fixed in newest kdenlive/gnome/mutter/xwayland, not sure, but now it's okay. Thanks!
