SUMMARY

Discover will detect updates on my local apt-mirror, but cannot retrieve them
***
For some weeks now Discover shows the red notification circle in the task-bar correctly, and will list the updates correctly, but when I try to download them from my own local mirror, shows somewhat like: "cannot retrieve , as not connected to the internet!"

Synaptic, though, is still working well with the apt-mirror in my intranet.

Can you please report this to packagekit?
https://github.com/PackageKit/PackageKit/issues/

Discover relies on it to support apt. There's not much we can do directly from Discover.

If you open the issue there, please link it here so that we are aware and can track it.
