SUMMARY *** When trying to change the volume on my PC without manually sliding the volume slider, the volume change does not consistantly use the "volume change step" that is set in "Volume controls" *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to System Settings > Audio > Configure Volume Control 2. Look what your "Volume change step" is set to 3. Use volume media key on keyboard at least 10 times to see if it matches the entire time OBSERVED RESULT Volume increases by 4-6% at a time seemingly randomly instead of just increasing/decreasing by 5% at a time. EXPECTED RESULT Volume increases by 5% every time I use the keyboard shortcut or the wheel on my Dell USB soundbar AC511 SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: N/A macOS: N/A Linux: Garuda Linux x86_64 KDE Plasma Version: Plasma 5.27.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.106.0 Qt Version: 5.15.9 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Created attachment 159279 [details] Video of it happening As I was editing this file to be uploaded, I tried it again after I had unplugged my Dell soundbar and using the monitor speakers and it seems to always go by 5 like it is supposed to, so maybe it is an issue with the soundbar? Will have to do more testing on my end.
Closing this bug report, it is my Dell soundbar and not the system... IDK why it is that way but oh well. I changed the status to what seems to be the best, but if it isn't correct, please change it.
