SUMMARY
The ctrl/alt key stays selected after it's clicked. Typing regular letters again requires to unselect it. Most of the time, the user just needs the ctrl/alt modifier once (e.g. ctrl+c).

The keys should behave like the shift key, i.e.
- click: unselect after it has been used once
- long press: stay selected
