I was doing nothing unusual, just drawing on krita and using my browser at the same time like normal. nothing special, just a paintbrush tool etc. then i lost control of clicking, replugging things didn't work. right click would show windows but nothing. couldn't interact with dock, drop down, had to restart via button. macos ventura

That sounds like an OS issue to me. I've actually had to restart macos for the same reason myself, but I wasn't using Krita at the moment, so I don't think this problem is causedd by Krita.

my mac is brand new, and my older macs never had an issue like that. I've
owned macs forever now, am hoping it's nothing serious haha

Well, I never had this before updating to Ventura. I don't think it's a hardware issue, I think it's a bug in macOS :-(. I also only have seen it on my M1 macbook pro, not on my old 2105 intel macbook pro.
