Description semperverus 2023-05-25 20:49:30 UTC
SUMMARY
If working with mixed scale environments, currently applications like Firefox and Discord do not scale correctly. They scale at 100% instead of the higher value, making content very small on a HiDPI display.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set up a 200% scale monitor in a mixed scale environment (at least one 100% scale monitor on either side works)
2. Log into KDE Plasma Wayland session
3. Start a non-kde application such as Firefox or Discord

OBSERVED RESULT
Application is scaled at 100%

EXPECTED RESULT
Application is scaled at 200%

If you enter the Display Configuration KCM and set the scale to 195%, hit Apply, and then click Revert, scaling starts to work.

In System Settings > Startup and Shutdown > Background Services, is the "GNOME/GTK Settings Synchronization Service" checked and running?
