SUMMARY There is no (at least easy to find) way to paste files in Dolphin when using a touchscreen STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. use a touchscreen 2. copy a file 3. long press on a file: enter selection mode, there is no "Paste" option 4. long press not on a file: nothing happens OBSERVED RESULT no way to paste it. Open Menu->Actions for Current View->Paste 2. (While in selection mode)Select a folder->Paste (within selection mode's bottom bar) IMO the best way to copy-paste a file with a touch screen goes like this though: 1. Have no item selected at all and trigger the "Copy…" action -> This enters a special selection mode for copying 2. Select files 3. Press "Copy" in the bottom bar of the selection mode -> A bar will appear at the bottom for easy pasting 4. Navigate to the location of your choosing and use the bottom bar for easy pasting To make this last workflow more discoverable, I believe it would be best if we had a different default Dolphin toolbar configuration for tablet or phone use.
