Description Alex A.D. 2023-05-23 07:53:34 UTC
It's a pain when you have an dolphin session of many folders you want to continue working after a reboot. It would be great to have the same session functionality of Kate in Dolphin...

I know there is the possibility of saving the KDE session for next login manually, but would be nice to have a dedicated panel for that if possible. It would also best if it integrates with X11 session server (i.e. ksmserver) nicely.

Besides, one may not want to use the KDE session save/restore because issues elsewhere, or because one prefers to start clean session (in general beyond dolphin).

The desired feature exists for years. it suddenly disappeared between march an april.
In the settings / start there is still the option "folder, tabs and status from last start" (translated from "de"), but since recently it has no effect anymore.

Seams to be a bug, configs aren't saved / restored properly.

Anyone else?

Seems like another regression.
