Description Kusi 2023-05-22 21:12:23 UTC
SUMMARY
When you assign a new shortcut for assigning stars to a photo, the shortcut only works for the current session but is reset to default after restarting DK. Other assigned shortcuts (e.g "About Digikam") work fine even after restarting DK. Only the rating shortcuts are affected. This used to work in DK 7.10

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open "Configure Keyboard Shortcuts"
2. Assign "1" to "Assign Rating 1 Star". Doesn't matter if you choose shortcut or alternate.
3. Close dialog and restart DK
4. Open "Configure Keyboard Shortcuts" and observe that the shortcut is reset to the default "CTRL+1" (or the alternate is gone if you have chosen alternate in step 2)

OBSERVED RESULT
After restarting DK, the assigned shortcut is gone

EXPECTED RESULT
Make shortcut assignment persistent

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This used to work in DK 7.10
