SUMMARY

Searching within home folder returns "No items matching the search"

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Search within /home/$USER or any subdirectory thereof in Dolphin

OBSERVED RESULT
Message "No items matching the search" is displayed

EXPECTED RESULT
Search is successful

Can you check your File Search settings? You might not be indexing your home folder.
