Created attachment 159182 [details] Similarity tab result Used Preferences - Collections - Ignored directories; then Similarity tab - Find duplicates - it still scans the ignored directories. In my database I have a 'BEST_OF' directory with sub-directories - these will always generate duplicates being smaller versions of images in the main directory tree. I was hoping ignored directories would stop this. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Preferences - Collections - Ignored directories - define directories to ignore (see attachment) 2. Tools - Maintenance (or Similarity tab) - update fingerprints 3. Tools - Maintenance (or Similarity tab) - Find duplicates 4. Similarity tab - still getting duplicates based on images in ignored directories (see attachment) OBSERVED RESULT Still getting duplicates based on images in ignored directories EXPECTED RESULT No duplicates reported if source of duplicate is in ignored directories. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS macOS: Momteray 12.6.1 MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021) Chip Apple M1 Pro 16GB memory ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Thanks for an amazing product. Sorry if this is due to typo's in the way I setup the ignored directories - still on the learning curve!
