Description andy 2023-05-21 00:58:03 UTC
SUMMARY
After logging out and logging back in, previous dolphin session of windows and tabs not restored. Instead, get multiple windows of Dolphin, all navigated to the home folder.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open multiple windows of dolphin, and multiple tabs, and navigate them to different locations
2. Log out
3. Log back in

OBSERVED RESULT
Lose previous session state. Everything points to Home folder.

EXPECTED RESULT
Keep previous session state, have windows and tabs open to previous locations before log out.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux 6.1.29-1-lts
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.106.0
Qt Version: 5.15.9

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Reminds me of this previous bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=439864

This has a huge impact on everyday use, like having specific folders open in certain order of windows/tabs, and very similar to web browser tabs, using tabs as a reminder to do something. It sucks getting the session clobbered and losing all that state.
