Description Riccardo Robecchi 2023-05-19 09:57:31 UTC
SUMMARY
Unlike most widgets, when the Plasma-nm widget is placed directly on the panel it doesn't respect the size set by the user. This makes it so that it changes size according to what's shown, rather than having a fixed size. The default size is also too small to show all relevant information (e.g. network transfer speeds, full WiFi network names...).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Place the widget on the panel
2. Resize it
3. Connect to a WiFi network

OBSERVED RESULT
The user-set size is not kept and the widget goes back to its original, too-small size.

EXPECTED RESULT
The user-set size is kept.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: KDE neon
